North of Sharm El Sheikh, Nuweiba is a coastal city offering the same scuba diving opportunities as other resort areas along the Sinai coast.  It is distinguished by the busy Port of Nuweiba, Nuweiba Village with its bazaar and tourist shops, and Tarabiin Bedouin and tourist villages.  Camel and Jeep expeditions are also available.  The beautiful scenery includes the Colored Canyon and the oasis of Ain el Furtaga.  Nuweiba has a daily ferry service to the Jordanian port of Aqaba.
